535 acres and seven miles of shoreline on Clarks Hill Lake, open to Scouts and groups year-round
The Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation is located in Lincolnton, Georgia, along the Savannah River and 71,000 acres of Clarks Hill Lake. Distinguished by its seven miles of shoreline, K.S.R. offers a one-of-a-kind camping experience on 535 acres.
Knox offers Scouts and other groups year-round opportunities to reserve campsites and other facilities at camp. The reservation is nationally accredited through Scouting America's National Camp Accreditation Program.

Boat ramp launches are paid at the ramp on the honor system, and are free with a paid camp rental.

Confirm and pay
Fees are calculated from your headcount and length of stay. You will receive a confirmation for your records.

Buildings & Program Facilities
Rodger W. Giles Dining Hall
A 6,000 square-foot air-conditioned dining hall overlooking one of the best lake views on camp. Available for group rental year-round.
Sewell Center Camp Office
The administrative heart of camp, with meeting space available for training courses and unit gatherings.
Doctor's Hospital Health Lodge
On-site medical lodge staffed during camp programs and available to groups camping at the reservation.
Trading Post
Snacks, supplies, and Knox gear during camp seasons and scheduled weekend programs.

Campsites
Knox hosts 15 residential camping sites divided into three main campground areas. Every campground area except the Boat Ramp and Dyess Point primitive sites includes a large pavilion with lights, fans, a wash station, electricity, and restrooms or bath houses with hot water.
New this year: two eight-person Adirondack cabins in Oconee and one twelve-person Adirondack cabin in Yuchi, each with covered hammock pods.
