Adult Leader Appreciation Night (Wednesday): This is open to all adult leaders at camp and includes the Scoutmaster Fiesta, and Open Leader Activities at Shooting Sports. Immediately after the fiesta, Scoutmasters will be able to compete in all three shooting sports with the winner being awarded bragging rights and the possibility of earning a discipline specific patch.

Scouting Heritage Boat Tour:  Learn about scouting heritage and the history of Knox with a little ecology thrown in, too; all while  on a relaxing boat ride around Clark’s Hill Lake.

Scoutmaster Disc Golf:  Scoutmasters, it’s time to hit the course and prove who has the best throw at Knox! Take on our 9-hole  disc golf course in a friendly leader-versus-leader competition for accuracy, skill, and camp bragging  rights. Scouts are encouraged to come along, cheer on their leaders, and see who will be crowned the  Knox Scoutmaster Disc Golf Champion!

Wild Walk with the PD:  Leisurely walk down the eco trail that will include dendrology, birding, native ecology talk, and maybe popsicles too.

Scoutmaster’s Camp Kitchen:  Cut-throat (but also fun) cook off competition using ingredients provided by camp to earn the coveted position of “Knox Camp Chef” —awarded at the Friday night campfire program.

Scoutmaster Flop: Scoutmasters, this is your moment to make a splash—literally! Step up, take the plunge, and compete for belly-flop glory as Scouts gather at the waterfront to cheer on their fearless leaders. Style, splash, enthusiasm, and sheer commitment all count, so bring your best flop and see who earns the title of Knox Belly Flop Champion!

Camp Volunteer: There are many ways that you can help camp. If you would like to volunteer for a project, please notify the Camp Commissioner.

Adult Leader Trainings: Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS), Outdoor Ethics Orientation and Leave No Trace Awareness, Aquatics Supervision: Swimming and Water Rescue and Paddle Craft Safety, American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. *All trainings and adult activities, except Lifeguard Certification, are free to resident adults and can be  signed up for upon arrival to camp.  Times/dates TBA
