Range Master Course

Cub Scout Shooting Sports Programs must be conducted on a district or council level and supervised by a certified “Range Master”. The Range Master course will provide instruction on the BSA Cub Scout Shooting Sports guidelines, requirements to properly man and set-up both BB and Archery ranges, and safely supervise Cub Scout BB, Archery and Slingshot shooting events. The Range Master certification is valid for two (2) years upon completion. This activity will be conducted outdoors, so “BE PREPARED” and plan accordingly. COVID-19 protocols require participants to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing requirements in accordance with CDC and BSA guidance.
