Recruitment Materials
Looking to grow your Pack, Troop, Crew, or Ship? The Georgia-Carolina Council offers a wide range of recruitment materials to help your unit connect with new families and showcase the excitement of Scouting. Whether you're planning an open house, visiting a school, or attending a community event, we have the tools to support your efforts.
We provide the following in-house printed materials to support your recruitment efforts:
-
Business Cards
Compact, eye-catching cards featuring your unit’s QR code, unit leader contact info, and meeting location. Great for casual handouts at events, school visits, or one-on-one conversations. -
Unit Flyers (Approved in Richmond, Burke, Columbia, and Aiken Counties)
Professionally designed and school-approved flyers for Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA, with customizable space for your unit’s QR code and contact information. Ideal for take-home folders, bulletin boards, and front office distribution. -
Peer-to-Peer Cards
Fun and engaging mini-invites that Scouts can hand directly to friends. These cards help youth personally invite classmates to upcoming events and are great for word-of-mouth growth. -
Bookmarks
Colorful, durable bookmarks with a built-in QR code that links to your unit’s sign-up page. Perfect for libraries, school book fairs, or classroom reading corners.
In addition to printed items, we also offer digital tools like geofencing campaigns and yard signs to help advertise your sign-up events in the community. Geofencing allows you to digitally target families in your area with timely, location-based advertisements, while yard signs provide high-visibility promotion at schools, churches, and neighborhood intersections.

We recommend submitting your request at least two weeks in advance of your event to ensure materials are prepared and ready.
