Presented by the Amateur Radio Club of Columbia County and the Ga-Ca Council.
On Saturday, June 22th, from 12:00 noon until 5:00pm we will be offering the Radio Merit Badge Class for those interested. The class time will be approximately 4.5 hours, then the scouts will have an opportunity to join in with the radio club and participate in their field day on the radio. The Merit Badge will be able to be completed in the timeframe allotted.
At the successful completion of the MB the scout will be able to stay with the club as they contact Amateur radio operators from around the world. The club will be operating and available for Scouts to check it out until approximately 2pm on Sunday.
