Cub Scouts love to shoot BB Guns, Slingshots, and bow and arrows!!
The BSA created the Cub Scout Shooting Sports Awards program to encourage Cub Scouts to develop safe shooting practices and proficiency in shooting sports. As Cub Scouts participate in shooting sports activities and work toward an award, they not only build confidence in their abilities, but also develop self-reliance, sportsmanship, and conservation awareness — all elements of good character valued in Scouting.

The Range Master certification is valid for two (2) years upon completion. This activity will be conducted both in the classroom and outdoors, so “BE PREPARED” and plan accordingly. The Course is free and includes the training material that you will be provided. Lunch WILL NOT be provided. Participants must be up to date on Youth Protection Training (YPT).
