Shooting Sports Shoots are for Scouts who want to Earn their Shooting Sports merit badges and keep up their marksmanship skills. Depending on attendance, we offer archery, rifle, shotgun, and tomahawk. This is an opportunity for scouts who have earned their merit badges and for those who want some exposure before taking their merit badges. All are welcome.
We offer paper, steel, spinning, and other challenging targets in the rifle range.
Archery offers scouts the opportunity to shoot both stationary and 3-D targets.
Tomahawk offers the opportunity to throw “hawks” at target rounds mounted on a stationary wall.
All Shooting Sports events are conducted by certified instructors and Range Safety Officers on the firearms ranges.
This activity will be outdoors, so “BE PREPARED” and plan accordingly.
Lunch will NOT be provided.
