Join the Adventure: National Jamboree 2026
The Georgia-Carolina Council is excited to send one Boy Troop and one Girl Troop to the 2026 National Jamboree! Each troop will include 18 youth and 2 adult leaders, so spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
John Yalch will serve as the Scoutmaster for the Boy Troop, and Amanda Steele will lead the Girl Troop. Youth participants who want to attend should register as soon as possible to secure their spot. Adults interested in attending should contact John or Amanda directly, as this registration link is for youth participants only.
To attend as a member of Scouts BSA, a Scout must be at least 12 years old and no older than 17 at the time of the Jamboree. Venturing Crew and Sea Scout members must be at least 13 and have completed the eighth grade, or be 14 years old and not yet 21.
The National Jamboree is Scouting’s premier event, bringing together tens of thousands of Scouts, leaders, and Jamboree Service Team members for an unforgettable 10-day experience. Held once every four years, the Jamboree is a celebration of everything great about Scouting. Attendees will take part in a wide variety of adventures, including high-adventure activities, stadium shows, a pioneer village, mountain hikes, and adventure sports. With 10,000 acres of wilderness at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, there is no shortage of opportunities to create lifelong Scouting memories.
This is the ultimate Scouting experience, filled with friends, fun, and adventure. Don’t miss your chance to be part of something truly special. Sign up today and get ready to Face the Challenge at the 2026 National Jamboree!
