Walk-In Refrigerator & Freezer Installed at Knox Scout Reservation
Over the past couple of weeks, another improvement is underway at Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation. A Walk-In Refrigerator & Freezer has been set-up next to the Sewell Center. First the area had to be dug out and formed. Then, a concrete and insulation base put in place. Next the units were brought in and reassembled as you see in the picture. In the weeks ahead, the units will be fully assembled and the electric wiring needed to operate the units will be installed. These units will allow us to have proper refrigeration and freezer space at camp for any activity the council conducts. This project was made possible through some generous in-kind donations as well as dollars from our capital fund. |
