"This Is Scouting" now available online

"This Is Scouting" is now available online.  Just vist the "Online Training" link to the left of this article to be directed to the site with this brand new training.  "This Is Scouting" replaces "New Leader Essentials" as a new course towards a leader completing Basic Training.  If you had previously taken "New Leader Essentials" there is no need to complete this new online course.  "New Leader Essentials" is now a discontinued course and will no longer be offered and all untrained leaders should be directed to take "This Is Scouting".  The "Job Specific Courses" for leaders at all levels of Scouting (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturing) that are required to complete Basic Training are still "volunteer & video" based trainings and will continue to be offered by the council and districts throughout the year.
