NYLT - National Youth Leadership Training

The BSA's premier training for Boy Scout Youth Leaders...

The Georgia-Carolina Council is proud to partner again this year with the Indian Waters Council based out of Columbia, SC in presenting the National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) program.  This is the BSA’s premier youth leader training experience that is presented at the local council level.  We encourage you to send your youth leader’s to this training…the experience the youth will receive will be returned to you in trained youth leaders having the skills, knowledge and confidence to work with you in having a Boy-Led Boy Scout Troop.  If your Troop’s financial status allows, perhaps your Troop Committee may consider “sharing” the cost with the youth to participate.

Below a flyer of key information and an application.    The course will take place July 19 – 24 at Barstow Scout Reservation.  Cost prior to June 19 is $200…after June 19 it is $220.  If you have any questions, please contact our council’s NYLT Director, Doug Massey, at kiokeedc@knology.net
