Merit Badge University

To allow us to best serve all customers of the council, we would respectfully request that you print out the registration form, fill it out and fax it to 706-733-0765 or sacn it in and email it to jwhitmore@gacacouncil.org.  Of course it can also be dropped off at the Scout Service Center during regular business hours.  We will be unable to fill out the form for you over the phone.

The fee is $15 which includes lunch and a patch, and there are Eagle-Required merit badges being offered this year.  All of the classes are intended to be full day sessions and many will result in only partial requirements which will require completion through the unit or with the MBU counselor after the event.  We have asked the Scouts to provide there top 5 choices in order of preference with no more than three Eagle-required merit badges on their list.  Final assignments will be made at the conclusion of the registration period and will be e-mailed to the participants with further instructions, including remote location requirement and possible merit badge-specific fees, during the first week of March.
