Medal of Honor recipient speaks to Eagle Scouts
Sammy Davis joined us at the Gathering of Eagles on Saturday, November 15.
Sammy Davis spoke to about 50 people at the Starch Building at our annual Gathering of Eagles event. A former scout, Mr. Davis received his Medal of Honor from President Lyndon Johnson in 1968 for his service as a member of the United States Army in the Vietnam War. In addition, Mr. Davis was the Guest of Honor at the council's annual Fleur de Lis Dinner & Auction on Friday, November 14. |
