Improvements at Knox Scout Reservation continue!
During the month of June, in partnership with the Georgia Army National Guard, several projects to continue to develop and improve Knox Scout Reservation were started. Among thse projects included: An "Amphitheatre" situated behind the Administaion Building with a beautiful view of the lake for campfires and large group presentations (pictured). A new campsite pavillion and six "Fred Sheds" that will be available for units to rent and use during the year and will serve as the staff site during Boy Scout Summer Camp. The begining of development of the Sports Field and Boat House. Gravel on the raods at camp. While well underway, work on the projects continues and stay tuned for further updates. |
