Georgia-Carolina Council Bass Tournament

Many thanks to our friends at Augusta Bassmasters for their efforts and donations conducting the annual Georgia-Carolina Council of Boy Scouts Bass Tournament held on November 5, 2011 at the Clarks Hill Wildwood Recreation Area. This year’s tournament saw the field increase to 49 boats with the team of Williamson/Williamson placing first with a five-fish total of 16 lbs 12.2 oz including the big fish weighing in at 6 lbs 12 oz (Glen Williamson pictured).  The other top five teams were 2) Johnson/Ashmore, 3) Buller/Buller, 4) Curry/Tickerhoff, and 5) Odom/Odom. Thanks again to Augusta Bassmasters, the tournament sponsors, and the participants for another successful event. We look forward to next year’s tournament and its continued growth in the future!
