Council Personnel ChangesAfter a few years of stability in the staff of the Georgia-Carolina Council 2011 has seen a number of changes in the professional staffing of the council. Jeremy Whitmore
Jeremy Whitmore has been promoted and will assume the position of Scout Executive/CEO of the Pushmataha Area Council headquartered in Columbus, Mississippi effective January 1, 2012. Jeremy has severed as the Assistant Scout Executive in the Georgia-Carolina Council since February of 2007 when he transferred here from Louisville, KY.
As Assistant Scout Executive, Jeremy was responsible for the entire field staff and the day to day program operations of the council.
Max Williams
It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Max Williams, District Executive of the Chickasaw and Ogeechee Districts. Max joined the council in September of 2007 and has given leadership to both districts during his tenure. In addition to his duties as a District Executive Max has served as the staff advisor to several key council events including the Spook-o-Ree.
Max is in the process of going back to school to pursue an advanced degree.
A debt of gratitude and appreciation go out to Jeremy and Max for their dedication to Scouting. They have made a positive impact in the lives of thousands of young people during their tenure in the Georgia-Carolina Council. |
Congratulations Mrs. Carden
