Council holds Annual Business Meeting

More than 30 voting members attended to hear the reports for the previous year as well as elect the Advisory Board, Executive Board and Council Officers for 2008.
On January 16, 2008, the Georgia-Carolina Council held its annual business meeting at the Enterprise Mill in Augusta. More than 30 voting members attended to hear the reports for the previous year as well as elect the Advisory Board, Executive Board and Council Officers for 2008.
 
Highlights of the evening included the Membership and Financial reports both of which recorded positive growth in 2007. The traditional membership as well as the Learning for Life programs grew while the council operated with a balanced budget.
 
Officers for 2008 include:
