Boy Scout Summer Camp at Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation

For the fourth year in a row, camp is recognized as a BSA Nationally Accredited Camp!

Congratulations to Chap Shearouse, Camp Director, Todd Garcia, Program Director, and the entire staff for receiving this honor.  On Wednesday, June 17, seven volunteers from other council's visited summer camp as "camp visitation specialists".  After review, all required standards were met and they presented the camp leadership with the BSA National Accreditation Award.

Early Thursday morning, June 18, around 1:30 a.m., a line of severe weather passed through camp.  By following emergency procedures, staff and campers handled the storms like true scouts.  Please refer to the links below for further information.
